Terms of Service

Effective November 5, 2026

FlashMap is operated by FlashMap, LLC. By creating an account or using FlashMap, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

Accounts and community rules

Who can use FlashMap. You must be at least 18 and able to agree to these Terms. Give accurate account information, keep your password private, and tell us if someone else gets into your account. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

Community rules. FlashMap works because people trust what they see on the map. When you post or join, you agree not to:

Your content. You keep ownership of what you post. You give FlashMap a license to host, show and share it in the app and in share links so the service works. Only post photos and videos you have the right to share, and that the people in them would be comfortable with.

Meeting in person and listings

Meeting people. FlashMap helps you find activities and the people going to them, but we do not run background checks, screen users, or supervise activities. You decide whether to go, and you attend at your own risk. Meet in public places, tell a friend where you are going, trust your instincts, and leave if something feels wrong. In an emergency, call 911.

Three kinds of listings.

LabelWho posted itWhat to know
CommunityA FlashMap userThe host is responsible for the activity and its description
OfficialA business or organizer, or FlashMap with their permissionThe business is responsible for its details, prices and offers
DiscoveredFlashMap, from public sources such as venue and ticketing sitesWe check these, but times and details can change or be wrong. Confirm with the linked source before you go. FlashMap is not affiliated with the organizer unless the listing says so

Tickets and purchases. FlashMap does not sell tickets or take payments. Links to ticketing sites or businesses take you to their services, under their own terms.

Businesses. If you run a business shown on FlashMap, you can ask us to correct or remove a Discovered listing at support@flashmap.co. When we post on a business’s behalf, the business confirms it has the right to the information, photos and videos it gives us.

Enforcement and legal terms

Reports and enforcement. Report activities or people that break these rules from inside the app. We review reports and may remove content, limit features, or suspend or close accounts, with or without notice, when we believe it protects people or the community. You can block anyone at any time.

Ending your account. You can delete your account in the app at any time. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should continue, such as disclaimers and limits of liability, still apply afterwards.

Disclaimers. FlashMap is provided “as is.” We work to keep it accurate and available, but we do not promise that listings are correct, that activities will happen as described, or that the app will always work without errors.

Limits of liability. To the extent the law allows, FlashMap is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for anything that happens at an activity or between users. Our total liability for any claim is limited to $100 or the amount you paid us in the past 12 months, whichever is greater.

Your responsibility. If you break these Terms or the law and that leads to a claim against FlashMap, you agree to cover the reasonable costs of that claim.

Governing law. California law governs these Terms. Disputes go to the state or federal courts in Sacramento County, California, unless the law where you live says otherwise.

Changes. We may update these Terms. We will post the new version here and tell you in the app about important changes. Continuing to use FlashMap after that means you accept them.
